Ed Shackelford

Founder & CEO

A true visionary and leader, Ed is the ambitious young entrepreneur whose foresight, commitment and dedication put TAG on the road to success. With over 20 years of insurance sales, management and business development to his credit, he has founded three thriving companies within the industry. Today Ed continues to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the insurance marketplace that fuel TAG's continuing growth and prosperity.

 

 

Duane Vestal

Executive Vice President

Destined to be a success, Duane Vestal's pursuit of business opportunity dates back to the founding of his first successful business venture at the age of nineteen. Joining Ed shortly after TAG was first established, Duane has been one of the driving forces behind TAG's relentless pursuit of new business opportunities. With his steady hand at the helm, he assisted Ed in propelling TAG into national prominence in 2004 developing the foundation for TAG's exponential growth in the Medicare Advantage marketplace.

 

 

Curt Klein

Senior Vice President

For over 20 years, Curt Klein has successfully focused his career on building, managing and motivating insurance sales teams. His expertise is evidenced by numerous sales growth and volume records most recently for the GAFRI family of companies. Using his abilities to build teams Curt is focusing on expanding TAG's field distribution footprint from regional to truly national in scope.

 

 

Mark Carter

Chief Financial Officer

With over 15 years experience in the domestic and international manufacturing industry, Mark Carter brings a broad base of expertise to TAG. With a strong understanding of fiscal control, he has been integral in managing TAG's rapid growth, implementing numerous systems and processes to ensure TAG continues to meet their fiscal goals and objectives.

 

 

Darwin Parks

Chief Operations Officer

A diverse member of the TAG executive staff, Darwin touches many of the day-to-day operations of the company. Instrumental in several areas, including finance and acquisitions, he is truly well-versed in all aspects of the company. Darwin's experience in Executive Management gives him the know-how to manage both TAG's growth and daily operations with professionalism and consistency.

 

 

Mark Hagen

Chief Information Officer

With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and over 14 years of Executive Management experience, Mark has the background to take our Information Technologies projects and development to new heights. Supervising the technology projects and IT staff of all three insurance related businesses, Mark is constantly looking for new ways to enhance and expand what TAG can offer to our clients and agents.
